As a parent, you only want the best for your kids, right? Imagine being a parent who has to struggle when providing for their family with the basic necessities of life like food and clothing.

Donating is one of the easiest ways to help people in need. Not only will becoming involved with the following charities make you feel better overall, you will also be helping those in need.

Jamie Oliver Food Revolution

Before expanding to help others, make sure your children are getting the proper nutrients and not boarding the obesity train. Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution is a charity that is aimed at educating and engaging people to love and enjoy good tasting and good-for-you food. You can donate to his charity directly from his website, check out amazing recipes, and educate yourself on school food and appropriate diet choices for you and your family. Oliver’s Food Revolution is quickly spreading and has famous supporters such as, Khloe and Kim Kardashian, Dr. Drew, Paul McCartney, Eva Longoria, Justin Bieber, and so many more. Over 700,000 people have joined the revolution…what are you waiting for?

Feeding South Florida

Feeding South Florida is a not-for-profit organization helping people in need while improving their lives through food, other grocery products, and educating others to fight against hunger and poverty. They have multiple resources that people can receive help from, such as their Backpack Program, Snack Program, Mobile Food Pantry, and so much more! These programs help those children who do not get the appropriate nutrition while they are in school. Many children are unsure where their next meal will come from and may go entire weekends without a proper meal. There are so many different ways to help besides donating, such as volunteering your time at the organization, or helping to raise awareness about this issue. These other options allow individuals who want to help but don’t necessarily have the monetary means to engage and help.

Help this school year be the best possible for every child. Support a cause this year and watch as schools and children begin to benefit from the extra donations and exposure.
